Reefton's own world class roller park

The Rollerpark is open to skateboards, BMXs and rollerblades (and even once a uni-cycle!). This park is a good size at 55m x 45m with lots of great features including a clover leaf bowl. It is widely regarded as one of New Zealand's best parks.

There is normally plenty of room for visitors and some days you may have the whole place to yourself. The park is located on The Strand behind Broadway.

Getting Here Reefton is centrally located at the hub of state highway access into the Coast, north from Murchison, Nelson and Blenheim and east from Christchurch.

Our History The town of Reefton was established in 1870 and was immediately a prosperous place. In August 1888, it became the first place in New Zealand to have a public supply of electricity, even before London or New York.
