The ‘Mini Miners Gold Hunt’ continues! A class from Reefton Area School in 2020 created a gold hunt for children. B2 has created mine shaft doors which have been placed on trees on The Strand, and Powerhouse Walk.

The ‘Mini Miners Gold Hunt’

Look out for them on your walks, some are well hidden! We have supplied the Reefton Visitor Centre and the Camping Ground with a map and packets of gold nuggets which can be purchased for a small donation (to cover the cost of spray paint). In each pack there are 10 nuggets of gold which families can place inside the doors to be found by other children. There are 10 doors to be found.
